British Customs Thunderbird/Storm Air Box Elimination Kit

Looking to boost the horsepower on your Triumph Thunderbird 1600 or Storm? British Customs has designed an Air Box Elimination kit that helps add up to 12.7* additional horsepower and 13 lbs./ft.* more torque.

The Thunderbird’s stock induction system heavily restricts intake airflow because it breathes through a small passage located under the seat. British Customs Air Box Elimination kit removes the bulky, inefficient, plastic unit for a high flow K&N filter and a lightweight, aluminum battery box. The box is designed to secure all the nearby electrical components and has a place to fasten a DynoJet Power Commander.

This kit is just one piece in the British Customs line of Thunderbird performance parts. The above power increases were generated using a complete engine package consisting of the British Customs Airbox Elimination Kit, British Customs Thunderbird Predator Exhaust, and a DynoJet Power Commander.
